Preston Mac Donald is our HolderWide Recipient for 2025.  We are so impressed by his grace as he works through such a difficult time in his young life.  Preston has an incredible attitude and is working hard to rehab with the hope that it may be possible to regain his ability to walk.  Through your help and donations it is our honor to bless Preston and his family with additional funds that will aid his family in pursuing treatments that may give him the needed edge for healing and recovery.

The information below on Preston's injury was provided by his family.

Preston suffered life-changing injuries; however, at the young age of 16, his faith, bravery, courage, and perspective through all of this have been something that has completely blown us all away. There are NO WORDS, but GOD.

He was involved in a terrible dirt bike accident at the Glen Helen race track while practicing for an upcoming race. He has been told by several doctors that he is extremely lucky to be alive and that he will no longer be able to walk again.

On May 22nd, at approximately 11:30 in the morning, Preston was thrown over 100 feet at 50 mph into the grandstands and landed back onto the track. His body sustained multiple life-threatening injuries.

His injuries were so severe, in fact, first responders didn’t think he would survive. He had 2 rods and 10 screws put in T7-T12, severing his spinal cord, fractured his pelvis, both lungs collapsed, broke multiple ribs, fractured his left hand and fingers, and broke his collarbone.

Preston has always been rooted in the Lord, and God has been prevalent through every step since the very beginning. A few years ago, he was gifted a cross necklace from his grandmother, which he never took off. Once in the trauma room in the ER, Preston’s mother, Chelsea, was given all his belongings. They couldn’t find his cross, only the chain. However, during his first CAT scan, within an hour of his arrival, they found that it was pressed into his back! We uploaded the scan so that you too can be blessed by it. GOD loves us all, and HE has not forsaken this young man, nor you.

I pray that you all can find it in your heart to help this sweet kingdom warrior. Preston has a testimony that needs to be heard. His road to recovery is very long, but he is ready to fight for his life. Your donation will help with medical and therapy costs, home renovations, a transportation vehicle, and all other unforeseen expenses, as well as possible stem cell therapy. Any donation, small or big, is a huge help and extremely appreciated. God bless you all.

We love you, Preston! Keep on fighting!
