We are honored to announce Dane Kortz as the Holderwide Ride recipient for 2023. Dane is currently 16 and lives with his family in Ventura, CA. Dane has had a passion for riding dirt bikes since he was small and has excelled at racing on the track. On October 1st, 2022, during the final round of the Fall Series at Glen Helen Raceway, Dane was seriously injured when he was unable to avoid another rider who had already fallen in his path. At the age of 15, the accident left Dane paralyzed from the waist down. Dane has had a remarkable attitude and continues to work hard at rehab.
We are pleased to come along side Dane and encourage his family as they navigate this difficult change in his life. We thank all of you for remembering Blake and Jake and for honoring them by lending a helping hand to Dane in their absence.
